Just the Two… I Mean Three of Us

Going from 1 to 2 kids

 

Gone are the days of reading, watching movies, relaxing, scrolling your social media sites or taking naps as you did with your first baby. The second one is soon to be here and he/she will  need to eat 8-12 to 15 times a day and want to be held 24/7, so once everyone goes back to work and the visitors are gone, what can you do to interact with and entertain your older child, especially while feeding the new baby?

So I found myself at a Rebozo workshop this past week. I walked in not knowing what to expect and not sure if or how I could apply what I would be learning to my postpartum work. I love having my mind blown at workshops and love even more when I can put my knowledge to use in a variety of areas, not only for my clients and their families, but for my own family and friends.

Christmas time is my favorite time of the year, the weather is cooler, the lights and decorations are out, people seem happier, holiday treats and parties are in full gear, comfy slippers and holiday socks are worn, family visits, Christmas carols can be heard on every station and hot chocolate is sipped.
